Cultural relics

The monastery was founded by Martonyi nobles in 1341.

It got its present shape in 1793-94, when it was enlarged to the east.

The walled Roman Catholic church, its medieval original, was completely rebuilt in Baroque style in 1777, and then renovated at the beginning of the 19th century.
